Throwback Thursday 

Believe it or not, i used to be really fit and cute. If you need proof, heres a picture of me circa 2013…

Part of the reason I’m doing the Whole Body Cleanse and meal prepping is so that I can get back down to that size (or as close as humanly possible.) We go to a bodybuilding convention every year called the Arnold Sports Festival and I have a huge, crazy goal to fit into the dress I wore four years ago by the time we go this winter. The other day I pulled the dress out of my closet and thought “How on earth did I ever fit into this?!?” Like seriously, if I were to try it on right now it wouldn’t go past my thighs.

My husband used to tease me that once I turned 25 I wouldn’t be able to keep weight off as easily and boy was he right! It has been an uphill battle, seriously, since i turned 25. My metabolism has gone WAY down. I feel like I could look at food amd gain weight. I’ve always weighed between 98 and 103 tops and right now I’m at a whopping 114. That might not seem like a lot, but when you’re 5’1″ it is.

I work out. I lift. I can get my arms, shoulders, back and legs really toned but for some reason I can’t get rid of the belly! This is where the cleanse and healthy diet come into play.  What’s that saying…. weightloss is 90% in the kitchen? I’m sure i just said that wrong but you get the point. I HAVE to start eating better and taking better care of my body. Not just for my little goal, but jist to be healthier in general. I have  daughters who look up to me and I can’t encourage them to live a healthy lifestyle of I’m not living one myself.

So here’s to a new beginning! I’m going to train harder, eat healther, and focus on my mind, body and soul. Because I want to be the role model that my children deserve.
